Stereo

The Stereo mode is great for shooting a realistic stereo image. To begin, point the mic at the sound source that you want to record (the “front” of the microphone is the side of the microphone with all the Blue Microphones Logo). Depending upon the sound or instrument that you want to achieve, put the grill of this mic anywhere from 2 inches to many feet in front of the sound source. By centering the audio source, you’ll receive equal amounts of signal in either the left and right channels. If you want a bit more of this sign in the right channel, move the sound source a bit to the right side of the microphone (like one is behind the mic), and if you would like a bit more of this sign in the left channel, move the sound source to the left (as if you’re behind the microphone). As an alternative, you could record everything as centered as you can, and readily correct the position when you are mixing the recording. If you want the audio in the right or left channel only, you should try using the cardioid, bidirectional, or the omnidirectional setting, then use your software to hard-pan the sound to the left or the right.

Onboard sound controls: Studio controls for headset volume, pattern selection, instantaneous mute, and microphone gain put you in charge of every level of this recording and streaming Procedure
