Alessi “Bulla” Bottle Opener

The bottle opener “Bulla” is designed by Valerio Sommella for Alessi. The project is part of the “Objet Bijoux” collection. “Bulla” is the result of a reflection on the adoption of natural forms which do not immediately reveal their origins but which, even without explicitly announcing them, may have a purpose. “Bulla” is like a smooth, egg-shaped shell with a long opening: the bottle opener is compact, the smooth polished surface is pleasing to the touch. The black leather cord completes the object and allows “Bulla” to be hung up in the kitchen or lets you take it wherever you go, even on the beach between the shells.
