4K optimized shooting
The optimized 4K shooting and video processing system allows you to shoot high-quality video in 4K resolution (4096 x 2160/60 fps) with a bit rate of up to 100 Mbps, allowing you to shoot slow-motion video with the highest resolution. Phantom 4 Pro supports the H.265 codec (max resolution 4096 x 2160/30 fps). With this bitrate, H.265 is able to give quality 2 times higher in comparison with H.264. Recording with a wide dynamic range in D-log will give the maximum amount of data for subsequent color correction.

High resolution optics
Lens resolution and contrast are important factors affecting image quality. It is a high-quality lens that can make clear, rich photos at high resolution. The latest Phantom 4 Pro camera is optimized for aerial photography, has an f / 2.8 aperture with a focal length of 24mm (35mm equiv). The lens includes 9 elements in 7 groups, including 2 aspherical lenses, housed in a more compact body. The image has become more detailed, with less distortion and blur, and photos and videos are sharper and more saturated. For the first time ever, DJI reveals a lens structure diagram to give people the opportunity to better understand the quality of the lens.

Taking every moment
Aerial photography is not only shooting landscapes – it is also shooting from fast moving scenes to racing. Shooting objects moving at high speed has always been a problem for “flying cameras” with an electronic shutter. Therefore, the Phantom 4 Pro is the first copter to use a mechanical shutter and a high-quality lens. The minimum shutter speed of the mechanical shutter is 1/2000 sec. eliminates motion blur, as well as the effect of “jelly”, the cause of which was the rapid movement of the object and the “rolling shutter” (Rolling shutter) electronic shutter. The electronic shutter has also been modified to get a minimum shutter speed of 1/8000 sec. and a new burst mode up to 14 fps at 20 megapixels, having the opportunity to catch the perfect moment.
